ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE

Vision and Leadership Commission - Provides a place for the entities of the Synod to share and align their work so that all may be empowered for their purposes and further the journey of the Synod.

Connectional Ministries Committee - Facilitate inclusive, and intentional relationships between all church bodies that both acknowledge and leverage demographic and logistical differences and strengths. (SoMA goal)

Stewardship of Resources Committee - Evaluate and align the allocation of financial and human resources to assure they are optimized to the needs of the Synod. (SoMA goal)

Leadership Development Committee - Partner with presbyteries as they attract, support, and retain high quality leadership for their communities of faith, hope, love, and service. (SoMA goal)

Committee on Representation and Diversity - The CORD shall be composed of one Ruling or Teaching Elder from each constituent presbytery, and will fulfill the  responsibilities set forth in G-3.0103, and will have the responsibility of  nominating persons to serve on the Permanent Judicial Commission and SoMA Moderator, Vice Moderator, Stated Clerk, and Treasurer.

Permanent Judicial Commission - A PJC shall be established and shall function as set forth in the Book of Order (D-5.0000). This Commission is nominated by the Committee on Diversity and Representation. Members of the Permanent Judicial Commission need not be commissioners of the Synod.
